The December 24 episode of Kaun Banega Crorepati 12 began with roll-over contestant Preet Mohan Singh on the hot seat opposite host Amitabh Bachchan. He had won the fastest-finger-first round in the previous episode. A DIG in CRPF posted in Hyderabad, the contestant's wife Satvinder Kaur revealed at the beginning of the show that Preet is a big fan of Amitabh and always watches his film Sholay whenever it airs on television. The actor then narrated an incident from the film's sets where his co-actor Dharmendra accidentally fired a real bullet and it went past Big B's ears.
Preet shared that he would give away some amount of his prize money to Bharat Ke Veer for the martyrs of the paramilitary forces and their families. As for the remaining amount, he plans to take his wife to Switzerland next month as they will complete 25 years of marriage then.
Preet played an impressive game and reached the 13th question for Rs 25 lakh. However, he couldn't arrive at a satisfactory answer despite using his last lifeline. Unable to answer the question, he decided to quit the show took home a prize money of Rs 12.5 lakh.
